School Resource Officers Unit

In partnership with the Twinsburg City School District, 2 full-time police officers are assigned as District School Resource Officers (SROs). Officer Ron Fruscella is stationed out of Twinsburg High School, and Officer Dan Biada is stationed out of R.B. Chamberlin Middle School.

Both officers provide law enforcement services to all 5 school buildings in the district. While these officers are not school officials, SROs are a valuable and active part of the school community.

The SROs are supervised by Detective Sergeant Bremner and the principal for the building to which the officer is assigned.

In addition to standard law enforcement training, the SROs are specially trained in, but not limited to, school security techniques, juvenile issues, and substance abuse identification.

The SROs provide ALICE training to students, staff, and faculty, as well as the basic DARE program to the 6th grade.
