The Support Services Division consists of 5 units or bureaus that provide support to the Patrol Division. Each of these units provides a specific service or services to the department and to the community.
The Twinsburg Police Department no longer has an animal warden. If you encounter wildlife issues outside of your residence please contact the Twinsburg Police Department Communication Center at 330-425-1234. They will have someone from A&S animal control contact you to discuss options. A&S will assist with animals inside of a residence at your own cost. Domestic animals at large should be reported to the communication center, and an officer will respond.
The Communication Center is the vital link between the citizens and the safety forces. It is staffed by 11 dispatchers and handles all dispatching duties for the City of Twinsburg's police, fire, emergency medical services, and service departments.
The Detective Bureau is a highly specialized unit of the Twinsburg Police Department. Detectives assigned to the Detective Bureau investigate major cases such as homicide, kidnapping, aggravated robbery, burglaries, narcotics, and other felony crimes.
The Records Bureau is responsible for processing the paperwork and related information generated by the Twinsburg Police Department, including arrest reports, accident reports, officers' reports, and statistical information.
Officers in the School Resource Officers Unit provide law enforcement services to all 5 school buildings in the district. While not school officials, school resource officers are a valuable and active part of the school community.
