Frequently asked questions
Why was the annual member discount removed?
Our goal is to make sure Twinsburg residents — the families who support our community year-round — always receive the best possible camp rate.
The previous system combined residency and membership types, which sometimes caused confusion at registration and made it harder to consistently prioritize residents. Moving to a residency-based model helps ensure that Twinsburg families automatically receive the lowest pricing in a simple, transparent way.
I’m a member but I don’t live in Twinsburg. What do I pay?
Under the updated structure, camp rates will be based on residency. If you live outside Twinsburg, you would register at the non-resident rate.
We truly value every member of our Fitness Center community — both residents and non-residents. This update simply ensures that local taxpayers, who directly fund many of our programs, receive their intended benefit.
Does this change anything for Twinsburg Residents?
No, residents will continue to receive the lowest camp pricing. The only difference is that your rate will now be connected to your home address instead of your membership status, making the process more seamless for you.
Is registration going to be easier now?
Yes. Your rate will automatically reflect your residency, so there’s no need to worry about selecting the correct category or linking a membership. We want registration to feel simple and stress-free — so you can focus on getting your child ready for a great summer.
Does my Fitness Center membership still provide any camp-related benefits?
Absolutely. While the direct camp discount has been removed, your membership continues to support a healthy, active community.
We’re placing greater emphasis on strengthening member-focused benefits within the Fitness Center itself — including expanded programming, facility improvements, and exclusive member opportunities.
Will my membership fees go down since this perk was removed?
Fitness Center membership rates are based on the overall cost of operating our facilities, pools, and year-round programming. Youth Summer Camp operates as its own program.
By keeping camp pricing separate and residency-based, we’re able to maintain consistent membership rates while ensuring the camp program remains sustainable and continues delivering a high-quality experience for families.
