LEGAL NOTICE OF AVAILABLE APPOINTMENTS
CITY OF TWINSBURG, OHIO
In accordance with Section 3.06 of the Charter of the City of Twinsburg, eligible persons are invited to apply for the vacancy in the Office of Councilmember – Ward 1. Interested applicants must have lived in Ward 1 for at least one year prior to appointment.
Any vacancy in the Office of Councilmember, except as otherwise provided in this Charter, shall be filled by appointment by a majority vote of the remaining members of Council. If any such vacancy in the Office of Councilmember is not filled within thirty (30) days, the Mayor shall fill such vacancy by appointment of a person qualified under the provisions of Section 3.03 of the Charter.
The appointee shall hold office for the unexpired term of the member in whose office the vacancy occurred or until a successor to such vacant office is elected and qualified as required by this Charter.
The City of Twinsburg will be accepting applications for appointment to open Ward 1 Council Person. Applications must be received by Friday, December 9, 2022 by 12:00 pm to be considered.
