Appeal # 04-2022
Variances are requested by the applicant, Verizon Wireless, to permit construction of an 8’ high security fence at 2000 Highland Road, PP# 64-09272, located in an I-3 Heavy Industrial District.
A public hearing will be conducted at 6:30 pm on June 22, 2022 for the purpose of hearing an appeal for variances to Sections 1164.01 (b) and 1164.05 (b) of the Twinsburg Codified Ordinances as follows:
1. Section 1164.01 (b) permits construction of a 6’ high fence at any location on an industrial property, but such fences must be constructed with at least 50% of its area as see-through. A 2’ height variance is requested for the proposed fence.
2. Section 1164.05 prohibits barbed wire, electrically-charge wire or other inherently dangerous fencing unless the basis for security has been adequately demonstrated by the applicant. A variance is requested to allow barbed wire or other security fencing at this location.
This public hearing will be conducted in compliance with Section 1199.11 of the Twinsburg Zoning and Development Regulations at the Twinsburg Government Center, 10075 Ravenna Road.
