[ARCHIVED] Mayor's Update 4/2/20 - 3:00 PM

Good afternoon everyone. As expected, the Governor has issued the following Orders:

1. Extended the "Stay at Home" Order through May 1st.

2. Retail establishments are to set an "occupancy limit" and prohibit the entrance of individuals beyond that limit.

3. Anyone that has traveled out-of-state must quarantine for a 14-day period upon reentering the State.

Twinsburg now has 9 confirmed cases and there are 5 in the Township. The State reported a total of 2,902 of confirmed cases (+355) and 81 deaths (+16). The United States has 236,040 confirmed cases with that total growing approximately 25,000 cases per day.

Please continue to practice social distancing and take all precautions to limit your travel outside your home. The last few weeks have been some of the most difficult that I have ever experienced and I know that this is taking a toll on each of you and your family. Have faith, we will all get through this and become a stronger community.
