The Commemorative Tree Program provides a lasting way to recognize a person, day, or particular event. Examples include, but are not limited to, births, graduations, retirements, weddings, anniversaries, or death of a loved one.
What's included?
- The cost of $425 includes planting, plaque placed by the tree (which will include the species of the tree, the event being commemorated, and who the tree was donated by).
- The tree and plaque are both guaranteed and will be replaced one time in the event of theft, vandalism or illness of tree.
- City of Twinsburg reserves the right to make substitutions on location and species based on availability and planting location.
- Donor will receive location of tree once planted.
Ordering Information
A Commemorative Tree Order Form (PDF) must be received by Twinsburg Parks and Recreation by April 1 for the tree to be planted in the Spring and September 1 for Fall planting. Orders received after that date would be held for the next season planting.

Planting Location
All Commemorative Trees are currently being planted at Liberty Park, located at 9385 Liberty Road in Twinsburg. The gardener for the City of Twinsburg reserves the right to determine the exact location within the park where trees will be planted.

Large Shade Trees (Attaining Height of 45 Feet or More)
- Black Gum (Nyssa sylvatica)
- Red Oak (Quercus rubra)
- Scarlet Oak (Quercus coccinea)
- Kentucky Coffee Tree (Gymnocladus dioicus)
- Shingle Oak (Quercus imbricaria)
- Dawn Redwood (Metasaquoia glyptostriboides)
